One early morning while reading my Bible I brought two pages to the middle and tucked them into the center. I was doing this absentmindedly as I contemplated a Scripture I had just read. As I laid my arms down to my side I looked at my Bible and was astounded to see the pages had just formed a "heart." The photo above is my Bible and what I saw that morning.
Isn't that just like God to "talk" to us with such simplicity? The Bible is the greatest "Love Letter" ever written. God's love is laced throughout the entire Bible from His creation of the universe to sending His love letter in the flesh to dwell among us. Jesus is the reason we can love God personally, on a deep level that permeates our hearts.
I've been contemplating the question, "How would you summarize the Bible in five words or less?" I'm not a Bible scholar by any means, but this question has been my constant companion this week. I finally went to the internet to get a quick study on this question. Most answered with a deep theological paragraph. So now I pose the question to you, "What words come to mind that summarize the Bible in a simple fashion?"
Maybe this is an impossible question. I'll be waiting for your responses!
